So, Volvo V60 D3, 2014, 95k km, bought at auction in Sweden.  

The car has been driving on Ukrainian roads for three weeks now, and I have one thought in my mind – dreams do come true.  

We found the car in just a couple of hours, on the third try – I knew what I wanted. The car was found at auction in Sweden.  

As for the conditions – prepayment of the full amount plus a deposit (i.e., a tax), which is refunded by the auction once they confirm the car was exported from the EU.  

We transferred the full amount, including the tax. Roman even covered part of the tax himself (!). From the tax, Roman’s services had to be deducted upon refund: his work and transportation to Tallinn (and I must say, the price for everything was very reasonable).  

After sending the money, I suddenly felt scared. What if it’s all a scam? Roman kept me updated on every step, and finally informed me of the car’s arrival date in Tallinn. I booked a plane ticket with a flexible date option – which came in handy as the date changed twice.  

I’m writing this in such detail to let you know – don’t worry like I did. The process takes time, don’t try to rush it. Don’t waste your nerves on unmet expectations, everything will happen.  

Finally – a flight, beautiful Tallinn, and an incredible car. Roman sent me a detailed video teaser the moment he got the car – it made me so excited.  

We spent half a day in Tallinn processing transit plates, insurance, etc. Then I drove home in my new car. The car is flawless.  

Roman is a reliable seller, and if he continues his work, I’ll see him again in about six years.  

Oh, and of course, the deposit was refunded in full in no time.

I live and work in Poland. Since there are many wrecks here, I decided to buy a car in Sweden. It’s easier to pick up from there.  

I called Roman, and within an hour I had pictures from the car inspection. Roman explained all the details, and then I spent hours thinking it over. We bought a Passat B7 in October on KVD with Roman’s help. Everything went well. There were no complaints about Roman’s work. Consultations, contracts, assistance with the auction purchase, excluding VAT from the car price right away (but the purchase is processed through his company, so the customs documents showed the car was imported from Estonia – I don’t see any problem with this at all). He introduced us to a broker in St. Petersburg, and despite our meticulous questions and doubts about this expensive deal, Roman was always patient and polite during conversations and consultations – everything was smooth!  

A big thank you to Roman! We are enjoying our car. Especially pleased that despite the comfort of the Passat, it costs only 370 rubles (11.5 rubles per cubic meter) to drive 550 km on methane (plus a 30-liter gasoline reserve, with a consumption of about 8 liters per 100 km). If anyone’s interested, I can share how the buying, receiving, and transport process went. Roman, thanks again, and I wish your business great success!

My first interaction with Roman began in February. I asked a lot of questions about Swedish VAT, auction rules, delivery, and customs clearance procedures. Roman patiently explained all the details. Things didn’t go smoothly at first. We lost an auction where, in the last minutes, the price for the desired car skyrocketed above the market. We were also disappointed with a car after studying its service history (which you can order for an extra fee). By the way, I highly recommend doing this before making a final decision on a car. It can influence your choice.  

When everything finally aligned (features, price, condition…), Roman and I started extracting details from the seller. We really had to extract them, as the seller, though a major dealership, was very slow to respond (sometimes the needed manager wasn’t available, or the information needed clarification…). Moreover, they initially refused to sell the car for export, even though there were no restrictions like leasing on the car. It was both frustrating and concerning. Additionally, when Roman went to pick up the car, the set of winter tires included in the price was “lost.” Roman put in what I’d call heroic effort to make the Swedes find those tires and get them on the ferry with the car.  

By the time of payment, I already trusted Roman, so I sent the money, of course with some nerves, but relatively calm, considering the amount of the purchase )) Future buyers, pay attention not only to the bank commission but also to the conversion rate they offer you, as it can significantly affect the price in rubles, even if the price in krona stays the same.  

I want to thank Roman for supporting the deal at every stage, for his understanding and patience, because emotions sometimes ran high, for his responsiveness (he even replied on weekends). I wish success to Roman and future buyers.

Hello everyone! I want to share my experience with Roman and the car! We first met back in 2013 when I decided to buy a methane-powered car from Sweden. Roman helped me win the auction on the first try. Roman is a knowledgeable professional and an honest person. During the preliminary work before the purchase, I completely trusted him, and after winning the auction, I transferred the money without worrying. The car made me very happy, and I’m still satisfied with it. Soon I plan to upgrade my car and will turn to Roman again without hesitation. I highly recommend him!!!

Thanks to Roman, now the Passat Ecofuel is roaming the Siberian expanses, or rather, its capital – Novosibirsk. We have two functioning methane stations, with gas priced at 11 rubles per cubic meter. Roman’s work deserves a solid 5 stars. The car exceeded all expectations!
